Author-in-Residence Community Event Was 9/5/2012

Ryan touched the audience with his emotional, heart-felt talk about his experiences as a 19-yr old GI during the Iraq War. Later in the week, he related to the PCHS English students in small sessions, discussing how reading and writing helped him deal with his re-entry into civilian life. Reading 'Ghosts of War,' is one of the few academic experiences every student shares.
