Author-in-Residence Community Event Was 9/5/2012

Ryan touched the audience with his emotional, heart-felt talk about his experiences as a 19-yr old GI during the Iraq War. Later in the week, he related to the PCHS English students in small sessions, discussing how reading and writing helped him deal with his re-entry into civilian life. Reading 'Ghosts of War,' is one of the few academic experiences every student shares.

Park City's 2nd Annual Live PC Give PC is November 16th, 2012.

The Park City Foundation sets aside this day for all Park City residents to give back to the non-profits that do so much for our town. This year, PCEF is sponsoring a fundraising project for each school. Check out the links below:

Many seniors at PCHS can not go to college or have difficulty going to college due to the high cost. If you are stretching for a school that costs $60,000 per year or trying to pay for Salt Lake Community college at $3,000 tuition fees per year, college is a reach for all our students. This program helps seniors by supporting their dreams and it honors them for their achievements.

Will you BEAT THE CALL? Donate $180 per student by January 18th and you won't receive a call during PCEF's annual Phone-a-Thon.

Your donation counts toward a class party for your child. 

- Parties are awarded to classes with the highest percentage of students turning in donations.

- Turn donations into your school, donate online, or mail in your donation by January 18th.  They all count!

- If there is a tie, the class with the highest $ amount raised will win the party.

- If you have already donated $180 this school year, that donation counts toward your child's class party.  Check for your name at the bottom of the page to see if your donation already counts. 

- Winning teachers will be entered into an opportunity drawing for some great prizes!
