Ari Ioannides

Ari Ioannides has more than 30 years experience solving complex computer problems. An alumnus of Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology, Mr. Ioannides supplemented his formal education by receiving technical certifications from Apple, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Novell, Microsoft, HP, Cisco and 3Com.  In 1988, Mr. Ioannides founded what is now Emerald Data Solutions™, Inc., where he helped leading companies like BellSouth and Turner Broadcasting deploy and operate critical, enterprise-level computer systems.  In 2000, Mr. Ioannides developed Emerald Data Solution’s first eGovernance technology and formally launched BoardDocs® in January of 2002. As the Chief Software Architect of BoardDocs, Mr. Ioannides has been able to enhance the governance process of more than 500 local governing bodies by leveraging the power of  cloud based services to publish and distribute information.

Mr. Ioannides has been a guest speaker at the International City/County Management Association, the National School Boards Association and the American Association of School Administrators. He has also authored numerous articles and white papers and has been published in leading industry journals, including Network Computing.
