Dr. Ray Timothy

Dr. Ray Timothy became superintendent of Park City School District June of 2007.
He received his B.A. from the University of Utah, his M.Ed. from Brigham Young University, and his Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Utah State University, with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instructional Supervision. Prior to his appointment as superintendent, Dr. Timothy served as Deputy Superintendent at the Utah State Office of Education. He also served previously as a local district superintendent, as an administrator in the high school, middle school, and elementary school ranks, as well as an elementary classroom teacher.

Superintendent Timothy was named Utah State University Outstanding Alumni Administrator in 2004 and has received numerous additional recognitions, including Outstanding Administrative Educator of the Year, Utah PTA, and Human Resource Developer of the Year, Utah Association of Elementary School Principals.  Ray currently lives in Park City with his wife, Janeene. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
